Thank you - Great looking game.
Thanks, are there still bugs that need to be patched?
kinda.. The AI doesent work as well as it should( the special forces guys with AR's have a tendency to kill themselvs with their grenades, the cyborg enforcers seems to always miss when attacking, also the regular zombies and cyborgs seem to stack up in a corner and stand there until you approach them at times ) . and the mission difficulty 1 Quest arrow doesent work
If you'r really looking for something to play now it should still be a great experience, if you can wait then you probably should wait for the next patch whenever that gets released
Got it, great advice. Thank you
NDS has a lot in their hands tho...
They keep pushing new ports and remasters of other games, so we can only hope this game isn't low on priority list, all things considered this can be their first project made from scratch, so a lot of learning is involved with the current build.
As per a date? We can only wait, since they haven't been very open outside the KickStarter community; they owe too much to backers and time isn't on their side. People are getting impatient and they are too silent about things outside the KS community. Too much closure if you ask me.
I played all the way through the end, struggled with many issues but enjoyed the experience nonetheless; as many of us here, I'm waiting for the update to come so I can revisit.
Good to know these details.
Communication as they say to the point of nauseum is KEY to engage with your base of gamers and people that fund the existence of the company.
I said something like this before and lots of people got really offended. The truth is, yes, Night Dive is working on other people's games for them. They're a contract company, it will certainly delay them ad infinitum if they keep taking on new work or the company that contracted them is not paying to maintain or update their products.
That's how game companies function. Multiple teams working on different projects.
If you go look up something like the Quake 2 port and check the credits, the lead devs on the kex team do not have system shock credits. Because they weren't involved.

And this is somehow supposed to excuse them for teasing us with information of further patching or feature updates? Seamus. I'm an understandable person when it comes down to it, but it feels like they're just managing their business wrong. God knows I wouldn't sell my company to Atari unless it was to avoid bankruptcy with the hitch that I may never work on anything with that brand again, should Atari decide to do what Atari always does...
People have a right to feel concerned about the products they're invested in financially and emotionally. But I'm getting the vibe you oppose that right.
They had to choose to either stay small or sign in with a bigger company to push further into theor ambitions.
That's my point of view from a consummer perspective. Reality is; we can't know for sure if they ever got the initial resources to deliver in the first place. KickStarter to begin with is a poor management choice they had to do just to get an initial fund; they could've been oblivious to the fact that said income was barely a promise given their scope into remaking the game. It's not an excuse, but keep in mind that the only ones making real money on KS is KS. The fact the NDS is expanding into other company did result into them releasing better ports of older games with more resources than when they first appeared into tje market.
Are they making bad bussiness?
Results just show that they're at least making something.
Being pissed by the delayed update is looking away from the dedication and attention to detail this people have been working with their projects.
Maybe I'm shilling this way too much with this; but with the same energy some people are hating them.
At this point the arguments are all the same and I'm getting tired of being an apologist over a videogame.
Because that's it. It's just a product for entertainment. Not a breakthrough in medicine or something substantially important.
The game made me happy. I liked it and found it one of the best games I played this year.
Some people might disagree; but I'm seriously annoyed by the amount of capricious people using it as an excuse to complain and hate on people whose job is helping you forget that we need to breathe fresh air from time to time.
They only brought this game back to get you to look at their other games. They have no intent of upgrading or patching this game. The only way to bring this game up to par is to completely re make it.
