SPOILER QUESTION - Maintenance Door

I found every task throughout the game understandable by listening to audio logs and reading emails besides one… the head you need for the maintenance doors. I couldn’t find any emails or audio logs that told me I’d need to find the specific guy, and I feel like the game kinda failed with that task because you can’t interact with other body parts in the game so I never thought to hover my cursor over anyone’s head.

Questions: Did I miss any logs or clues that would tell me to find someone’s head, other than the simple existence of the retina scanner?
And, do you agree it was maybe the only overly-vague task in the game since the game never teaches the player that you can grab body parts, but rather teaches the opposite?

Yes, 99% of this game feels like aimlessly wondering around trying to work out what you might have missed, and hoping something will give you a sense of direction.

I didn't find any logs regarding the scanner or the room. I did find a head that you could pick up at one point, but didn't know it was usable for anything.

Yeah, I agree this task/objective is bs.

Look at the logs of maintenance to find a suitable candidate. Listen to the logs to find out where he was or went. Find his corpse and there you will find his head. General hint: if you can't vaporize it then keep it or at least stash it at a central point on that level.

So there was a log that said who was could open the door and a log that said where that person went? Can't believe I missed those. Sounds good enough I guess. I thought I got most everything and this was the only one I struggled with. I'm curious as to the location of those logs as well. Thanks!

I legitimately found the head during normal play, stored it because I knew it would be important later. Cant remember where I found it though, since I wasn't really looking for it.
