Does the Enviropack V1 even do anything or am I missing something?

The description implies that it uses Energy in exchange for protecting your health from Biohazards, but it really doesn't seem to do...anything? I still lose a ton of health being near them. Is it supposed to be like this?

It reduces biohazard levels by a percentage (roughly 80%), but it doesn't completely remove it. Hence why you still take a small amount of damage.
You later find an upgraded version that also reduces radiation levels. You can find that one in lv 3 maintenance after flipping the master jettison switch and getting the message that it needs to be fixed

Thanks for the tip. Honestly mandatory damage like this is something I always hated, especially due to how healing works in this game.

Yeah, all part of the challenge. Just make sure to stock up on plenty of batteries and healing items before heading into beta grove

On lv4 storage. You need to find log books to figure out a door code to get passed a locked door. The door is in the south east section if i remember right. In-case you don't wanna run around looking for log books, the code is always: 838

just checked the door is just left as you exit elevator, near the medical room
