is there any guide to the cyber implants you can have ?
for example, I really don't know what the health biometric curves are good for.

I think its just eye candy

The biometric curves are just eye candy that gives you a classic resident evil style health display (in addition to the normal one you already have). Most early implants are just basic functionality or just for fun - by midgame you'll start to find ones with more meaningful gameplay effects.

Your implants should display along the left and right sides of the screen when you open your inventory. I can remember but I think you can hover over them to get a description of what they do.

No, I don't get a description when I hover over them. It is even more annoying that you cannot read the description again that you get once when you find an implant.

What is the Sensaround for, anyway. It does not seem to do anything. Even with the secret room in Medical level it does nothing.

Odd, that is another feature (the others being map notes and markers, and sandbox difficulty mode) that the Remake is annoyingly lacking from the original.

The Sensearound has changed from the original (where it gave you a activatable rear-view live feed). I believe in the Remake it adds more things to your map, like pickups. I think you can use it to see through walls but only after you have gotten the lvl 2 or lvl 3 version of the implant.

Sensaround V2 lets you see enemies on minimap like a short range radar.

The health biometric curve is mostly good for keeping an eye on fatigue - you can see your heart rate increase if you sprint for a long time, and it will spike when the staminup patch wears off. Not sure if high heart rate also effects melee attacks or jumping.

Sensaround lv1 show you pickups near you on the radar

You can see the available ones and a short description in the manual.

not sure for what Stamina is needed for, anyway.

The biometric thing's biggest use is as your stamina meter.

Might I suggest reading the manual that comes with the game?

I also use it to be able to quantify how much energy I'm using with the various power modes on the guns/implants that actively draw during use.

But, yeah, mostly for stamina also.

The manual explains a bit about every implant. I recommend reading the manual either way, it gives a lot of context to the whole game "universe". Find it as a PDF in the "System Shock Remake" folder.

Originally sensearound was needed when on the bridge as it prevented bots from spawning practically on top of you.

Sense around V1 shows high value items eg.weapons, ammo and audio logs in about a 10 meter radius it also has a slight radius over walls so it can be used to indirectly reveal hidden doors.
It also uses low energy overtime. So basically it is a high value loot scanner.

V2 also reveals enemies can be used to know about them in advance so they less likely to ambush you eg.from a corner.
