How to get more storage?

The little storage lift you get is not enough and I got weapons and items I want to keep for later. Any way to store more goods.

There are 2 storage upgrades that together add a full row in your inventory.
The first one can be found on Storage level the other in Delta Grove after beating a chess game.

Sweet im in storage now, Do you know if I keep my stuff in a box it stays there or gets wiped?

It stays. I've had several guns in the boxes near the elevator from maintenance to storage for a while now with no issue.

I've been using the med bay on the reactor level since it has both a surgeon and dumbwaiter and relatively quick access to the elevator. I just throw stuff on the floor since it doesn't disappear.

The traditional way of storage in shock is to drop items into elevators.

I see I have been lied to. THe last post I cam across talking about the chess game said something along the lines of "the loot not being worth the trouble".

There is another storage upgrade hidden behind the chess puzzle in delta grove.
Generally I just find some big box to stash things in and place a map marker there. There are some big boxes just outside lv 4 elevator that are great as a central stash.
It is also fairly safe to just drop items on the ground and place a marker. Items persist throughout map changes.

Yeah, its like 5 or 6 additional squares or something, it is very much worth it even if you only get one of them.

It is a small room just near the puzzle area. If you go pass a door way or go into a connecting area and don't see it on a shelf you've went the wrong way. (:

Beating the AI in the chess game opens up a door. The fanny pack is in there.

It's over by the elevator in that same "room".

there's 3 or 4 boxes right outside the freight elevator in maintenance, I store everything there since it's pretty central and close to the other elevators.

Thanks, now I see it. Looks like my habit of flying around using jetboots and opening all of the map backfired at me.
