Having to write down notes in meatspace does slightly break immersion.
Thank you, I'll check that out.
Woh, Steam have finally got a notes feature? I've been wanting them to add one for years!
Yep, the overlay even seems to save the webpages you're on even after you quit the game. Super handy if you have a walkthrough up.
Oh that is niffty.....
I've been using friends as notepads so I don't have to alt tab to my desktop to hold up a bright white notepad.
I thought it could, but as I was writing my post my brain said "wait, do you remember this in SS:E? or are you thinking of SS2?"
I saw this on a playthrough recently so it's kind of a step backwards to have only one type of unnamed map marker for the player in the remake.
You can write your own notes in SS2?!
I have been playing the game yearly since it came out and i never knew this!
Yeah, such a cool feature back from 90's
I kinda miss it nowadays but in the same time - nah
It also really bothers me that the custom markers in the remake are labeled as "Messages" in the map legend, which you can enable or disable, yet you can't write custom message text. I really hope they implement this feature and soon.
