Also in what world is a 20 hour game "incredibly short"? That's perfectly normal.
To 100% (get all achievements) it you will also need quite a bit longer and/or play it several times.
Its difficulty sliders are paragon, you can scale down to a walking simulator without enemies or have tough enemies on top a 10 hour window ( was 7 in the original ).
If you're new to this, even with guides, expect 20+ hours. As a seasoned player, expect to be able to finish it in 4-5 hours without breaking a sweat. That is the curse of all immersive sims.
Basically you can play combat, puzzle, cyber on 1-3 difficulty and put the mission on medium/2 difficulty and there is no time limit.
Game is likely about 20 hours or so for first time.
Missions difficulty 3 is only recommend once you know the game very well and even then you need to hurry and likely not do many optional stuff.
Edit:Different between missions 2 and 3 difficulty is only the time limit and nothing else just like in the OG.
