Yeah but it's not really atari it's just part of another company owned by another company using the brand. Infrogames I think.
Its hard to imagine how things could possibly be worse under new management but these are the clowns behind the vcs...
Ooh, right.
Atari were a big powerful company in Blade Runner 2049, and that was set 23 years before the release of System Shock.
(well ok it was more 22-20 years)
it's like pottery, it rhymes

>US$10 Million payable half in cash and half in Atari shares
I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dying inside.
Literally two days after I finally decide to try the demo and decide it's good enough to consider purchasing, this happens.
Also, for those curious, no, this isn't the same Atari that you grew up with. French game publisher Infogrames purchased the rights to use the name when the real Atari went bankrupt, and they're wearing them like you'd skin a corpse to use it's skin as a disguise.
I wish I could refund my Kickstarter now. The chances of me seeing the game (and the accompanying physical goods) are disappearing as we speak.
I know Kickstarters are a gamble. Consider the money you spent gone and be *happy* if you get something. Doesn't make it sting less though.
