Just a thought after recent Atari acquisition
This is the reason they have had zero communication or as some have said radio silence for the last couple of months.

Probably cause the higher ups were discussing the acquisition and that took priority since they have and continue to have money issues due to mismanagement of funds.

And also the reason it was pushed back to "May 30" this year (I am hopeful it is actually releasing this time on this date) because of if they were going to be acquired by Atari then they would want System Shock to apply to THEIR earnings as a company and no one else.

Probably was specifically requested as part of that 10 million deal to buy them up. (again my thought, so take with grain of salt) to boost Atari's revenue for the fiscal quarter and that is why we are waiting.
Since a few patches shouldn't take longer then a few weeks and we would have been looking at release in sometime April as a few backers were suggesting and I'm sure right on.

But the acquisition has been said from several media outlets online to go through in April. Hence pushing the release back to make the acquisition more valuable to Atari.

Anywho, makes sense to me. Any thoughts on that?

It is worth noting that this may be the setup for an April fools joke.

If it's real, I have to wonder what Prime Matter thinks of it. They have the publishing rights. Atari themselves are a publisher, as well. They both publish in the same areas of the world.

I wish it was.. but it is not. I'm sure the 10$ mil is including them getting out the contract with Prime Matter as well.
