Hopefully next patch is coming soon then I can play it for myself. I have patience.
The review count you're using is also incorrect meaning even if using review counts to calculate average sales wasn't utterly incorrect, you'd still be wrong. 4727 is when filtered for english reviews. The total review count is over 6000.
What? I mean.. RPG? How? What??
Uh, redo your math, if you take that method that means the game has sold around 300k copies.
Owners: 200.000 to 500.000. I would say that is pretty impressive for such a game. Add to that the sales they will have on consoles.
Why are they struggling so much?
This next patch is taking forever.
Critical and basic stuff like cloud saves taking this long to be implemented is ridiculous. Is this a one man band or someone's side gig or something?
They're timing patch 2 with the release of the physical backer goods from the kickstarter, and (I suspect) the console release, probably with the re-worked ending.
My totally unconfirmed interpretation is they'd rather have new players experience the 'full' vision and so aren't particularly motivated to release a QoL patch earlier.
Sucks, but there are plenty of other decent games to play in the meantime, and the experience will be better if you hold out.
