Demo Save to Main Game Save
What it says on the tin. I tried the demo, liked it, got like 80-90% of everything done on the first level when I decided to buy the main game. Unfortunately, the main game doesn't seem to auto-detect the demo file. Is there a way to transfer that save file to the main game, or do I have to start from 0 again?

Gotta start over. There's changes to the map and other things between demo and full version.

I too was interested in this, tried to copy the QuickSave.sav file from the demo version location ("%LocalAppData%\SystemShock\Saved\SavedGames") to the full version ("%UserProfile%\Saved Games\Nightdive Studios\SystemShock\Saved\SaveGames"), didn't work.

If you try to quick load you'll get a red message "Savegame invalid or missing", or via the load game menu "This save was created using an older version of the game".

[Edit] On second thoughts, I'm quite enjoying playing through the medical level again. :) Definitely seeing some changes to the demo fairly explaining why a save can't be migrated.
