Reactor code

I love this game, don't get me wrong. Grew up with the original way back when so was pretty hyped when this was in the pipeline. But had forgotten how frustrating some parts could be.

I'm currently at the point where I flip the switch within the reactor.

I have all the code from the floors. But it doesn't work. I've gone back and checked, double checked and triple checked each and every node screen for the digit and wrote it down clearly. But yet, the reactor refuses to accept the code.

I know others have mentioned they enter a code, the force door vanishes and then they can flip the switch... but then nothing happens. Anyone else found this problem? I really don't want to have to restart all my progress just to see if a new code will help.

Did you get the 3 and the 5 mixed up? They're similar in the font the game uses.

Sorry I should have said, my code is 229670, no 3's or 5's :(

Did you try putting it in backwards? Might be you wrote them down in the wrong order.

Same happened to me. I wrote it down in the wrong order, might have mistaken a the 3 and 5. Had to backtrack and get them again. Worked fine.

Are you absolutely sure you're inputting them in the correct order?
To clarify, the order of the digits is the same order as the floors.
- Medical
- Research
- Maintenance
- Storage
- Flight Deck
- Executive

The number is random.

For example, mine was 491387.

Thanks for the advice and tips. I went back *again* to each and every level for the fourth time. I then find, on L2 Research, the digit which I can assure you, said '2', now says '4' - Back to the reactor, 249670 - accepted.

I believe you about the last bit. I swear I saw one of those monitors display an "8" in my playthrough and yet my code ended up being 497605.

i am currently at that part now the only problem is i haven't written down any codes from the previous floors so i gotta go to the cpu room on every floor right ?

i have to say this is pretty lame and a waste of time i like this game so far but this isin't respecting the players time now i gotta chase after some silly code on every floor this is no fun

should have paid attention to the multiple audio logs saying that the numbers are important, you start getting them really early

That's your problem.

The importance of the codes where hinted at in a audio log on storage level. By then you would have 2-3 codes already.
