Report a translation problem
I'm not sure that being caught by a camera calls reinforcements, but I have noticed that nearby enemies can become alert if you're caught by a camera.
It may have just been my perception, something to test properly perhaps.
All lowering the security level does in the original is grant access to some otherwise locked doors.
That said, I've never seen it matter.
Yeah, that makes sense. Peeking inside the game files, I saw that the amount of time that it takes a camera to notice you differs by difficulty. Then again, I saw that the food items have values set for their calorie count, which isn't just flavor text. And I don't think there's any mechanics that actually key off that data.
Might be different on level 3, but I am content with 2 :)
