I believe they're all randomly generated, or perhaps atleast pulled from a pool of designs maybe.
You would have to post an image for people to see or just throw the towel in and use one of the auto override tools :/

that's a little ridiculous to have puzzles like that be randomly generated lol, thanks anyways!

Read the manual in the install folder.

It explains the puzzles.

They're randomly generated in the sense there's a bunch of puzzle presets, and the goal value for it can vary, i.e. the same socket puzzle might need 4 power, might need 5, might need 10 but it's the same exact layout.

But if you want help with puzzles post a screenshot of the puzzle (with weapon holstered).

Treasure each and every auto-solver you find, since they are very rare. I needed them on level 3 for some of the turning puzzles. The one with wires can usually be solved.

When you look at the connectors, they have either one or two lights where the cable is connected. Those with two dots are stronger than those with one. So you need to experiment which cable goes where, as it is often solved by how much goes into what connection.

I found the puzzles to be fun, the only auto solver I used was.. in some spoiler part Where Shodan locks you in after placing C4 and you have some ~20 second timer to hack your way out. Hehe no way in hell I would have enough time to do that manually. That part got me good :reexcited:

Amusingly, I was too slow there, but I didn't die. No idea why.

You are out of the blast radius in the junction box niche. It is just a scare really.

That's not as cinematic and tense though as the seconds count down! :P
(I didn't know or see any place to take cover at the time honestly, I just wanted to GTFO!)
