Will there be a lighthouse in this one?
I heard that all the Shock games were in the same universe so will this one make mention to the other Bioshock games?

Ken Levine was making Bioshock as a sort of spiritual successor to System Shock. And he took some of the original System Shock formulas and used them in Bioshock to a degree.

While all the Bioshock games take place in the same universe if there is any reference to Bioshock in System Shock it would be pretty broad. It technically could take place in the same universe but as far as I know there are no direct references to a lighthouse in the original System Shock and none that I have noticed in the remake.

Though there is a fan mod for System Shock 2 called System Shock Infinite that ties the games together but it is not official.

I suppose you could argue that the lighthouse being more an anomaly, or metaphor, from a persons memory, could actually be represented by anything. In Bioshock Infinite it was from Booker's memory. And in Bioshock 1 there was the Bathysphere dock at the beginning in the water which the later Binfinite was probably alluding to. If you recall from Elizabeth she said "There is always a city, a man, and always a child" Infinite possibilities but always those constant things/ideas/metaphors. . In the case of System Shock, Shodan could actually be a reference to the child as well and Citadel the city. so make of that what you will. Though there is less of a prophetic feel and Social commentary feel to System Shock then was portrayed in Bioshock.

You could hypothesise that Shodan it self could also represent the lighthouse. The end game boss in System Shock 1 has Shodan represented by an obelisk type virtual structure. But there is no substantial evidence that this was the intention on Levines part when writing Bioshock. But I have read so many of the Eternal Champion books (Elric, Corum, etc) where the city of Tanelorn could be represented by a actual city or an object like a rose. The Darktower books by Stephen King also had a similar idea. Tanelorn was an ideal, an idea, and not really a physical thing, even if it took on the form in some realities.

If you want to have the worlds connected make some fiction up or something that connects them. You can have the canon be what ever you want it to be for your own experience.

I don't think so. Nothing related to Bioshock, universe-wise. It's a different setting... Sorry! but who knows, perhaps they will do an easter egg, System Shock being a huge inspiration for Bioshock, it may be cool to do so.

I don't know if it was already mentioned, but in lighthouse section of bioshock Infinite there was citadel in hidden files or stage. So-o the ship itself sort of

Oh really, there are references to Citadel in Bioshock Infinite's files!

That is interesting.

You should maybe apply a little more critical thinking to things you've "heard" before you end up doing something embarrassing, like asking if a game set entirely on a space station has a smegging lighthouse in it.

Looks like somebody has little to no imagination. I also heard that everyone on these internet forums were helpful and courteous in helping other acquire information, but after reading your post I guess we are both disappointed.
Funny you should mention critical thinking when talking about how ludicrous a lighthouse in space sounds, while also talking about games that have cities underwater and/or in the skies on giant balloons using technology from eras closer to the civil war than to modern day. You should probably check out the forums for the games Sunless Seas and Sunless Skies and their lighthouse's found underground and in space. Then use your unfathomable critical thinking skills to tell everyone on there how wrong they are and they should be embarrassed for playing such "smegging" games. For now though, I shall say GOOD DAY SIR!

There's a slight hint at the end of the remake in the cyberspace section (Citadel is mentioned to be a "Lighthouse Class Station"... that's the closest you're probably going to get though)
The Citadel itself is mentioned as being a Lighthouse-Class station during the finale of the remake, with this supposedly being a reference to the cut appearance of Citadel Station in BioShock Infinite, where it was supposed to be shown as one of the hypothetical lighthouses, thus, this would imply that while System Shock is not necessarily set in the BioShock universe, it is considered a part of the whole grand Shock-multiverse if you will, with the principle of "There's always a man, there's always a city, there's always a lighthouse" being applied here as well.
