Is System Shock 3 still a thing?

We havent heard from it ever since the December 2015 official announcement....Well i hope it doesnt gets cancelled and i hope it doesnt looks exactly the same as the Remaster though....But even if it does it'll still be a great game!Other than that i hope we get to battle SHODAN herself in the Final Boss Battle this time :D

P.S. I never even played any of the System Shock games myself....Im just showing a large amount of interest for it!

Shock remastered and Shock 3 are separate projects by separate studios.

They put up some new art work for System shock 3 aswell as ideas as to where there going to go with the story.

Says on the page there are possible spoilers for SS3 but i didnt see anything that could damage the game, go look it up!

Looks awesome,I did noticed a small article or an IGN post on August the 31st aswell but also wondered how it didnt got announced anywhere else,Thanks a lot for this and it looks very promising!

Pre-Production is ramping up. Check out https://www.othersideentertainment.com/ - especially note the Tweets section; there's activity about System Shock 3 on there (and you can follow the people involved if you use Twitter at all). I'm guessing there will be a campaign at some point to raise funds, so it's still a ways off, but definitely still coming. =)
