Unfortunately Its passed long from the period that I can refund, otherwise I would refund every single one of them.
Last Friday I setup Farcry, Anno, Assassin (games that my kids like to play) in my Gaming PC which I was going to take with me to Farm so when kids get bored of playing outside they have something to play. There is no Internet in the farm, and I couldn't run a single one of your games. other than the 3 that I purchased from GOG.
I can share steam library with my family (2 kids) so I don't have to purchase games on 3 accounts and then try and find which one was on which account. but with your launcher I have to give username and password to my kids who want to play the game too, which s%#ks big time.
On the other hand you are just like many of the other game developers who make games with online requirement, once in a while shutting down the servers for that game, which this makes the game unplayable for me who own the game, even though you are not selling the game for just 10 years or so.
These things forces your customers to download your games (which they own by the way) from alternate sources with bypassed launcher, and I'm pretty sure when someone find that alternate sources, they might feel itchy and download games that they do not own too.
This I'm sure will not benefit you either.
Removing launcher is not "not possible" as you suggest, you have the code for game and you can remove it at any time you wish. it is just that you don't want to do it.
This is just annoying your customers who pay for your games, not the ones that never paid for it.
Regards
A player who owns at least 20 of your games
Hey BobSort,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your comments here - they'll be passed onto the relevant teams.
Apologies for the disappointment you have had to in being unable to run some titles offline.
if there's anything further we can pass on or answer, please let us know!

For me its not a problem that Ubisoft launcher is exist but at least when I launch games from Steam or Epic store let the launcher verifying or do its thing in the background not popping up new window as I let Ubisoft connect start when windows booting. it means Ubi-connect is always opened but when launch game a window pop up its so annoying because I use third party launcher (Playnite) to organize all games from different launchers (steam, epic, ea app, etc...)
Thanks for getting in touch and sharing this too Sal9im!
Ubisoft Connect will open up upon game launch as it's part of the boot process - sorry to hear this is getting in the way.
We'll pass this feedback on too.
If there's anything more you'd like to share, please let us know!

I simply cannot play any of my Ubisoft games. I paid for that %%%%% but I cannot play them. I am posting about it literally everywhere. I never felt so robbed in my life.
A Ubisoft account and Ubisoft Connect is required for all Ubisoft titles. This is clearly stated on the store page for the game on the right hand panel.
If you are experiencing issues with the client please ensure you have downloaded and installed the latest version of Ubisoft Connect from here[connect.ubisoft.com] please. If after doing so and logging in to your Ubisoft Account you're still experiencing issues please let us know of any error messages you're seeing or what exactly happens when you launch the game.
Thanks,

You make me sick. Empty replies, support people not reading the description of the issue, asking same questions and really not helping at all. Had over 2 months a ticket until your latest Ubisoft Connect version is no longer working on W7, although when I bought your product and today still shows it works on it. So original issue solved, as no matter what the problem with the game was, I cannot launch it at all now. You just pretend to support your customers.
Funny how without being directly asked several ubi employees comb through posts in a vain attempt to make it look different than the mockery the support is. As for Ubisoft attitude towards the customers...
This was *not* true when I bought most of my Ubisoft games.
Literally theft.
As this discussion is trailing away from the core topic and is starting to stray into becoming quite disrespectful, I will be locking this thread from here on.
As above, the Ubisoft Connect client is required and there is no means of bypassing this.
