Hello

When I launch the game, it tells me that there are updates to be done for the DLCs, it restarts and then it hangs on autopatcher.exe?

blocked on a reboot loop but offline patcher didn't work

the title kinda tell all about it but yeah i tried to redownload the game multiple time, verify the files too and the patcher with and without internet connection and i'm still stuck on this loop.

When i verify the files on steam it say that 2 files are missing but it doesn't load them for some reason.

Any idea ?

Hello Macamaca, as far as I am aware the autopatcher shouldn't be needed for the game anymore after the game build available was updated on Steam and Connect, so this may need reporting to our Anno team if this is still affecting you.

Can you let us know what build version the game says you are on in the Steam settings > if you right-click on the game's tile > select Properties > select Update > what build ID number does it show you?

Do you also get any error messages that pop up before the game reboots or after, that you can send us a screenshot of?

Same issue, get "Addon activated" message each time game starts and forced to restart but nothing happens afterwards. There are no other messages shown. Verifying files with steam shows "2 files failed to validate and will be reacquired" but nothing is changed.

Hey Milky, so i've the same build as Ackro ( 9386450 ) and the link that you send him is the one that i've tried already.

And new thing, the link to download it doesn't work anymore when i click on it. But that was the patcher that i already tried and the thing only says 3 option 1: the game isn't intalled
2 : the game is corrupted and 3 : the game is up to date.

I've tried multiple time and yet it doesn't seems to work for me. might do something wrong tho

thanks, but the patcher is not working, showing "ANNO 2070 could not be updated". offline or online is the same.

as Macamaca said, the link to download on that help page is broken but it does work if you change to "https".

I don't have the DLC purchased on Steam but through Uplay I believe so that might be part of the issue. Installing the game via Ubisoft Connect still runs it through Steam anyway.

I have it on Steam and purchased DLC on Uplay a year ago and how it worked for me: download autopatcher and copy it to the game's folder, launch it through windows command line in that folder, after it finishes work launch game via Anno5.exe.

sorry i'm not the sharpest tool in the shed regarding those kind of stuff :)

I mean the Windows option, to put commands manually like everyone did for DOS, i e via command line. You have to click on the startup Windows menu and search it among 'Windows service' or such. And after launching it navigate to the game folder using default commands, like C: or D: for changing drives, or 'cd \Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Anno 2070' to go to the folder and launch autopatcher simply by typing its name

Ah yeah alright, ok i was thinking about cmd or stuff like that.

But tried to do so and still this patcher doesn't work.

For me it was a quite big file Anno2070_Offlinepatcher_2_00.exe. Not sure what your problem today is. By curiosity I deleted the game and installed again, it launches from the library now, the DLC is present, no autopatcher is required anymore

Unfortunately this solution does not work and I have followed all the steps

I put the file Anno2070_Offlinepatcher_2_00.exe in my steam folder of the game, disconnect internet and it does not install the offline patch.

I did a clean install of the game and checked the files but I have the same problem

This does not work. Patcher says invalid install. Likely becasue steam refuses to actually install the 2 files is says are missing everytime i verify files.
