Hydroelectric dam

Hey I just built a hydro electric dam and I am quite please with myself.


Is there any more cool stuff in the academy worth building?

The Keeper and Guardian thingies for Eco-Balance are quite neat. Though not as neat as a dam.

... and there's an upgrade that u can put on the Ark that will increse the output of all ur dams to 700 energy ... clean- safe- energy

you can make 950 with ark upgrades * , but tgeres is better items for ark

with the appropriate upgrades, the nuclear power plant and geo thermal plants become safe.

There is a ton of cool useful stuff in the academy. Make sure you're always researching new tech to find it though.

buy it from the NPCs (Item bar) or if u get lucky ur labs will make one

I've build a nuke with lots of safety features, but no luck on the dam. I have two academies cranking out stuff with lots of random formulas but no dam technology!

Both labs and academies have odds of building a prototype, however labs can crank out jobx MUCH faster then the academies can, so the odds are better that spamming a whole bunch or resource restoring items, Drill bits, etc, will yield the prototypes you need.

I've got a bunch, in fact I have like 5 anion catalysts. I wish there was a way to send them to you like an email.

and there is, in multiplayer u can give him the catalysts - Ark storage must be on

Im pretty sure academies dont produce prototypes. They only produce either research or warehouse/ark upgrades.

Have 3-4 labs running at the same time, and you'll increase your chance on a prototype. Or buy expedition coordinates, they can also come up with prototypes
