Hostile Takeover

Hey everyone. Just out of curiosity, has anyone experienced a hostile takeover by an NPC?

I'm only curious because I haven't had a computer do this before.

And if you did, does it mean automatic war?

i havent had an NPC take over one o f my islands ,but i have taken over a few and YES they go all kinds of nutz ....lol so make sure your readyu for war before you do...

Generally they prefer to just come blow you up rather than take you over. It's far easier... haha.

if it is easier then y is it every time i get a boat load of cash to start spoending on an new island i need to buy back my own shares on my starting island

that i have no idea why?.......why is it when you buy a share of your own island does it say unowned shar aguierd?...

You can increase the dividend return value on your shares infinitely. I'm not sure if it's a glitch, but it's been consistent now. The value of shares, however, will max at 60,000 Credits. You can easily get an income balance of +100,000 credits per interval.

There are 5 shares per island. The blank grey ones are "Unowned" shares regardless of whether whose island they are on.

I've had an AI buy up to majority share on one of my islands. I just bought them back; didn't wait to see if they'll actually do the takeover.
