serial ?

just purchased complete edition and it is asking for a serial to activate the game.
i did not get any serial and there is no "view serial/key" item if i rightclick the game (or anywhere else). a friend of mine has the same problem ... he purchased it a few minutes after me on a seperate machine.

can anyone help ?

duh dont you know how to use steam. its in ur library when u select the game.

it is not. thats my problem. the usual "view serial" links are not there.
for example: i can view my serial for torchlight 2 or my cd key for witcher2 but nothing for anno2070

The link is "CD Key".

I have the same problem I even tried to verify the games files and it says it failed then downloads something still no key no serial cant play game WTF Steam?

sckchui: did you even read my post ? there is no "CD Key" link. i know where to look because i already have more games in my library with cd keys and all of them have this link ... but not anno 2070.

Please guys... Thanks for your help... But i'm not stupid... I searched the internet for more than 90 minutes now... I followed instructions deleting "userdata" folder from another thread, reinstalled steam completely, registered with steam support, opened a support case... Believe me, I know where the CD key links are for my other Steam games. Except for Anno! It is not there...!

If you ask me I don't think steam has any key for this complete edition thats my theory since it was released to day , off course they took our money and screwed us in the end.

I'm having the same issue... there is no 'view CD key' or 'View Serial Number' option... Has anyone gotten Anno 2070 Complete to work??

nope, i sent in an email to Steam Support like two hours ago and i'm waiting to hear back from them. If the problem isn't solved by the time i get a response, I'll post what the Support responded up here.....
