Can only hear ambient sound
This looks like an awesome game and I can't wait to get into it, but I've run into a problem. I played for the first time yesterday and everything worked fine (Aside from the text being too small; they really should add in a UI scaling option). But then I start up the game again today and I have the issue.

The sound works fine until I load a game. In the main menu the music works and the interface sounds play, but once I get into the game, the only sounds I can hear are the background ambient city sounds when I'm zoomed in close to my town. Voices don't play, music doesn't play, and when I go into the menu there's no music or sound in there.

If I go into the pause menu, go to Options and change my sound device to something else and then back, the menu music starts playing and while I'm in the menu everything works fine. But as soon as I close the menu the sound stops working again (in-game and in the menu) and all I can hear are the ambient city noises.

I've Googled this for about half an hour and I can find nothing. I've tried restarting my Windows Audio service, I've tried deleting the Engine.ini file, and I've tried verifying game files. Does anyone else have a solution or an idea?

EDIT: I rebooted and this was fixed. What a weird problem.

If you get this again it may be a performance issue.
I hadn't cleaned my PC in ... well I had never cleaned it. It was getting terribly hot while playing Anno and as a result it killed the sound for me. After I cleaned the fan it runs even better than before: and with sound ;)
