the guys who made this mod know what there doing and im glad they did..
couple things.....you can run the basic mod with good gaming PC how ever
if you want to play the MAp pack then it is essental that you have a beefy cpu,ram and gpu or the maps will not even load....were talkng about 30-40 LARGE maps on a map seed,with!!,40+ engiens, took me over a minute to go form one corner of the map to another!!!......and pluse ive built cities on the large maps and its not all that because when you start micro managing 120 trade routes, its more work then fun.....so the map pack is a your own taste kind of thing...hey give it a try if you can you may like it......it is possiable to hit 20 million people on those large maps i know........but like i said more work then fun.......but give it a try you may like micro managing 20 million people..lol......i do not.....happy buuilding =)
not bad but enough to notice, so i started checking things....my two evga 670s sli were great!!...
but my 3570k oced to 4.5 underwater was at 45%!!!.....and my 10 gigs of sniper ram oced was over 60%!!!!...thats just crazy!!.....so not worth it to me...but the medium maps....well thats where the money is!!!
I tried making my own minor mod to make an art project possible, but every time I started a game, it'd just end up crashing less than ten minutes in, so, yeah. Kudos to the makers of ARRC for making theirs work
It sounds like you followed the steps right. When you start a new continuous game, click your difficulty, then under Eve's picture (to the right of the box your difficulty is listed in), click game settings. Map Size is in the lower right corner. Other than that, I dont know. I had the same problem the first time, so I went through the process again and it worked the next time, but I also uninstalled 2170 so that I could reinstall using the Anno Cookie version.
Anno Cookie works, both versions. Firstly, make sure you installed version "a" of Anno 2170 (its an option in the install wizard). Next, extract Anno Cookie out of the zip file. Run it after you open Anno 2070, and lastly make sure you are running it as administrator.
This MOD, the map pack and Anno Cookie all work and is definitely worth it.
Thanks for the reply.
It has been a long time since I wrote that post and since then I manage to get it working. It turn out that all I needed to do was to run AnnoCookie after I started Anno 2070.
Neitheir did I.

But again, if you like the city building, the arrc mod is more advance, and is a very good mod. But too bad for me, it did made the game to easy. To be honest, the AI in the original game isn’t that good, so I prefer more challenge when I do build a city. So that’s why I did like the Ma.ug mod better. Do understand it brings 2 more AI in the game, but does not rewrite the original AI.
Also, something nice is the AI shipyard (made by the Judekw mod, and is also in the Arrc mod) you can put new AI players in an already running game (see picture)
Greetzzz
