Unlimited resources without trainer?

All i want is to have unlimited resources to create huge city's etc, but i dont want to use trainers, they are full of viruses and you have to do ♥♥♥♥ to get them, i have all dlc's, is there any way to get unlimited resources?

It is possible, if you work at it in the game, you can trade items, purchase what you need, sell what you don't need. Use the laboratory research items to create additional mineral deposits on your islands when they expire and underwater you can use the smokers for unlimited minerals.

Making a big city take alot of time, you have to use the ARK if you want to "cheat" ressources

What is the point of even playing the game when you want to remove the game part.

It's like reading the last chapter of a book or watching the end of a movie instead of the whole thing just for pay the off.

Do you have Deep Ocean? I'm considering creating a fake patch that makes the game practically sandbox when I get spare time... If you don't have Deep Ocean, then it wouldn't work for you I don't think =I (it'd patch on top of Deep Ocean, using the data from that instead of the base game)

Sandbox is a game type, it has nothing to do with cheating all of the game features and mechanics to essentially make everything obsolete.

I have all the dlc's, and this would be awesome, and in reply to warlord,
1: i bought the game, it doesnt matter wether i "play" it or not.
2: i have already logged enough hours and done enough to say im bored with the game as is, i merely state that MY opinion is that i would like something like this, so that it makes the game fun FOR ME, it doesnt matter wether you agree with my perspective or not, it doesnt concern you.

I'm 'working' with novato83 on getting a translation patch functional (as it is, apparently it's not actually changing any text), but when I'm done with that, I'll get to work on this ^^

It shouldn't be TOO hard. I already did one with Anno 1404. Only issue I had was that changing how quickly Monuments built caused them to bug out somehow, so... I might need to keep those as they are (build over time).

You'll have to keep in mind that playing the sandbox patch will make you unable to go online, and will disable unlocks (like portraits, colours and achievements). So if you want anything like that, you'll have to remove the patch and play normally.

Oh, ok then, by any chance, is there a way to make it so that you can enable it/disable it etc, or even better, make it so multiple people can play :D (also, idc about build time, all i want is unlimited resources :D)
