I search on google and found that most people's that get this bug use AMD cpu or gpu or an ssd. One person say that if you restart steam it re-download files you are missing.

Another say that its uplay's drm that is the problem (no fix on that one).

Its a bug if it use 1.7gb ram and then crash and ubisoft have no fix for that.

Try to reinstall anno 2070 if that dont help its nothing to do :(

Or you could wait till monday and call customer support (UPlay) and see if they can help, the few tech issues i've had have been fixed by them pretty quickly.

Try increasing your virtual ram as well

i can not use my SSD to create virtual RAM !! that's why i put 16go !

and yes i will call them !! when ? i work everyday ! when i come back home they are home too :)

i already try to post on official forum

Then you've borked your system some how. I've got 2 SSD's and 2 HDD and i was able to increase my virtual ram easily

with 16go of ram i think i have enough ? and how increase virtuel on ? you mean the swap file ?

You could have 64GB ram and you'd still need virtual ram. Try using google and learn how to use your machine

ok that was what i was thinking about ! i already have more than 5go of virtual ram on my first SSD .

Check your TSR programs, (virus software, updating software, any program running in the background), these interfere with the program, especially if they are trying to verify/update files while your playing.

Not sure about AMD being the possible cause. Intel/Nvidia here so no way to even test.
But SSD shouldn't be the issue. I have a SSD/mechanical HD config and no problem here.

But the out of memory error usually has to do with Virtual Memory aka PageFile.
Not having one at all will often cause this issue in certain scanarios. Not having enough will also cause the issue if a game or app needs to make use of it.

You only need one PF, and the best place for it is on your SSD.
Try deleting all your page files, and set a pagefile on the OS Drive (C) as System managed.
Or you could set it at 4GB-6GB, but system managed is really the best way to go.

FYI, having multiple PFs on different drives will not help. You are better off having one decent one at 4-6GB or system managed. SSD is a great place to put it.

If Overclocked, return everything to stock for the time being as well and test.
Could be RAM thats got a bad place/unstable OC.

If all that fails, I would test the memory just to be on the Safe Side. MemTest 86 let it run a couple passes. RAM could have a issue.

@ =EGC=

If he has 16gig RAM as he claims, then a swapfile of 4Gig-6Gig won't help much. Computer-managed is not advisable either, since that will just result in Win hogging all available space on your HDD, causing things like overall system slow-down and the incorrect indexing of available memory.
A swapfile relative to hard RAM is a rule of three.
Therefore, for optimal result, OP should set a swapfile of 48Gig wideness on his primary HDD (The one the OS boots from.). That will alleviate a lot of problems.

BTW, I always have to laugh at people with problems who proceed to list the specs of a gaming-beast that should, really, have no problem at all running the game they've problems with... And surprisingly, all people on Steam have these awesome gaming-beasts that do nothing but borking out on them.
I wish people would be honest with their specs.

BTW II, Trident is el cheapo that might as well produce brandless RAM. A true gamer buys Corsair Vengeance LP.

for info : i have a swap file on the primary HD wich is a SSD : 5go .
i have 16go of RAM and Trident is the reference of them, the brand is G.skill . they are good one.
i have nothing overclock, just the CPU wich run at 4.0ghz instead of 3.8(no turbo activated). but turbo function with original stock clock will push it to 4.0. so no problem from here.

i never encounter RAM problem in any software and i use some greedy RAM soft like After effects or premiere, photoshop x64 etc ..

My specs are real and yes it's the 1st game wich bring me problem and normaly my PC is more than enough for this game.
all run smooth (when it run) until the bug message .

i understand when you say the best will b 64gb virtual RAM ... but i think it's too much !
i have physical 16go to use them not to use my SSD to do that(not good for SSD)

Don read my post above, it isn't your RAM, it's the other programs you have running, you need to close some of them. Since your running the program online, some programs interfere, trying to update and scan, using up your RAM.
