No offline mode?
So the uPlay servers are currently down, which is typical for Ubisoft.

However the game is forcing me to log in, even when I put uPlay into offline mode. Is there another way to play without requiring a login? Or am I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ until Ubi gets their ♥♥♥♥ together and the servers come back?

My offline mode works even without net connectivity...

You might just have to put in the password in the Anno 2070 screen, but not to Uplay. (i forget, it's been awhile)

I've launched uPlay in offline mode, but when I open the game I get told "The connection to the server has been lost.". I am then forever stuck with a message saying "LOGIN". The only option available to me is exiting the game.

Yeah, try pressing that LOGIN and entering your password (it's weird) and I think it goes through then, even without net.

Or try actually disconnecting your net, and see if it works differently when launched.

I'm reinstalling the game from a backup, sec, I will try to see if I remember how it works

The "Login" thing seems to be some kind of loading message. Clicking it doesn't open up the login box. Though I can access that when online, but get told there's an error with the servers.

I think I'll just download a crack and apply that. Would probably save a lot of time and effort.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ UBisoft, they broke the offline mode, can't play it now.

It was worknig a few months ago.

Maybe it was because I needed to activate again...and the activation servers are down?

Edit: Support ticket submitted, will keep everyone updated. This is unacceptable without offline mode.

If you want to offline play. backup AutoPatcher.exe form Anno 2070 folder and delete it. now you can play offline mode. don`t forget backup!

It is most likely this, since I have to activate again too.

Unfortunately deleting AutoPatcher.exe didn't work. Hopefully Ubi sorts this soon.

Works now, both off and online.

Seems they had authentication server issues, and I needed to authenticate.
