Anno 2070

Anno 2070

Anno 2070 complete edition includes only Anno 2070?
Steam says, that the "complete edition" does not include any other item than the regular anno 2070? or is this a bug?

If it's the £4.99 one, then it's just anno.

Yeah, i think the complete edition is both, as deep ocean is on sale at the moment also.

I'm wondering the same thing...I just buy the complete pack and canno't find Deep Ocean and others add-on written anywhere...Maybe waiting for the download to run the game...

Well the complete edition is known elsewhere as having deep ocean with it, so they probably just forgot to add it.

Should it appear in my Library? Or is it directly include in the game and I need to launch it to see it?
BetterBenTV Feb 20, 2014 @ 2:08pm
but also steam does not says that I own Deep Ocean (I already bought the complete edition)

You'll have to launch it, and see if it has the extra missions or something. I also put it in the kart, but it said i only have anno 2070, when i have both anno 2070 and deep ocean.

Odd, it should say i have deep ocean pack, i think they messed up somewhere. If you don't want to take the risk you can always buy them seperatly.

When Ubisoft asks for your key their autopatcher kicks in and it unlocks all the content on the complete edition i did this last night .

thanks

Be sure to READ the content of what you buy. The Complete DLC pack doesn't include the Deap Ocean expansion.
Steam will only ever list Anno itself in your games. DO is a config setting when setting up a game.

And yes, the DLC will turn up on a bit after you get ingame.

So which should I buy? The complete pack, or the game + the DLC pack?

I just tryed it by buying "Anno 2070 Complete Edition" (no additional DLCs or stuff like that) and installing it:

Anno 2070 Complete Edition consists of:
1) Anno 2070
2) the nine DLCs of the Complete DLC Pack
3) the Deep Sea Expansion - YES IT IS DEFINITELY IN THE CE!

Additionally you have some bonus content like the Soundtrack (MP3) and two posters and a Artbook (all three in PDF)

Steam is kind of messed up when coming to these infos. There is no hint what the CE could be. But since the CE is not a Steam-only offer other shops can give you more details about the contents of this package.
BTW: During the installation you have to connect to uplay (ubisoft gaming network i guess) bind the game key to your account there. The DLCs/Expansion where downloaded over that uplay-network after installation of the "normal" Anno 2070 - maybe that's one of the reasons why steam seems to be kind of messed up here. The Bonus content can be found in the "Bonus Content"-subdirectory of your game folder (usually something like ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Anno 2070\Bonus Content)

Hope I could help and clear some of the confusion

TL/DR: Anno 2070 Complete Edition consists Anno2070, all 9 DLCS (Complete Pack) and the Deep Sea Expansion. Ubisoft Uplay-account is needed to play and the DLCs/Expansion will come over that UPlay network - not over Steam.

Deep Ocean is not DLC though.. Just saying...
It's technically an EXPANSION. It even got its own retail release.

I think it's just a common misconception these days, thanks to how rampant DLC (and anti-dlc rants) are. If it's not pre-packaged and you download it, it's DLC (though, to be fair, it IS content you can download).

That's most likely the reason people get so confused at why Deep Ocean isn't in the Complete DLC Pack (and also the names both having Complete). Clarity would be nice, I guess

So were I because of not caring about Anno2070 before this steam offer...
