Possible Fix for Ubisoft Connect login failure

I've been digging through these discussions looking for advice on Ubisoft Connect failing to login when starting ANNO because it was affecting me, but not seen any confirmed solutions.

I think I've found one successful workaround - reboot the entire PC.

It appears that something is wrong with Ubisoft Connect's "remember me" option, in that when first logging in after booting the PC, I never have trouble. But upon trying to start ANNO a later time after the PC has had a chance to go into sleep mode and come out, I have nothing but failed logins and ANNO loads up with no profile or events or saves or ark storage. If I shut down and reboot the entire PC, then on first launch of ANNO Ubisoft Connect does a first login which is always successful.

You'll know from the moment you launch from Steam if it will login or not. On first launch after a full reboot, there are two Ubisoft Connect screens. First, a status screen with some colorful spirals which just says at the bottom "logging in", then a screen showing a banner for ANNO 2070, and then the game starts. On later logins which always fail, I don't see the initial "logging in" screen with the colorful spirals and instead it goes straight to the ANNO2070 screen which comes second, and then the game starts up. Also, on successful login, once the game starts up I see a brief notice in the top right about what keys to press to view the Ubisoft Connect overlay (Shift + F2, if I recall). When the Ubisoft Connect login fails I do not get that notice about the Ubisoft overlay.

If you are having trouble with this, look for those screens to compare between successful UC logins and unsuccessful ones, and see if a full PC reboot solves the issue and causes UC to do a fresh login instead of relying on a failed 'remember me' setting.

Just wanted to share because I can see I'm not the only person being frustrated by these issues.

haven't succeed event for the first time, so unfortunately it doesn't work for me. but thanks for sharing the info. i was able to login 2 weeks ago, but since the last weekend it keeps failing.
