In a continuos game or single mission Techs are unlocked much later in the game.
Also in the vanilla campaign and most its single missions Deep Ocean Options are disabled, you will see a small message warning you before loading the game.
So it looks like Deep Oceans is a like a big mod to the original, not add-on episodes, is that right? I was looking for a set of Deep Ocean missions, but there aren't any.
Thanks for the help by the way. SuperPinkyMan, Eve did not make that suggestion when I reached Eco Engineers. She offered me Tycoon stuff to build. I have all three options now for building, including the underwater energy source, but I can't figure out how to build it! help!
If you want to know how to build under the ocean in general, then:
you need to reach techs and then produce a trimaran. the trimaran can load up tools and stuff required for the u-warehouse and it has the abillity to dive. go to an underwater plateau and start building
I think you can buy the submarine in your ark and I think the Japanese scientific guy sells them too, I don’t remember if also the professor sells them.
And don’t worry I think you can’t declare war and attack certain neutral factions, like the professor or the Tycoon and Eco leaders, you can just on other AI players., but first you must decalre war, so is not easy attack someone by accident like in oher games.
