Only Singleplayer?

Hello,
i got this game reccommended as a good Multiplayer game but Steam lists SP only.
On the web I read that it is planned to shut the servers down, the news-section on steam says otherwise,

Can someone clarify this please?

As far as I know there's no multi-player aspect to the game but I suppose it's possible I've just missed or ignored it. The recommendation you got might have been mistaken.

The developer has replaced the servers with new/updated ones so I think the net result is that nothing has changed until they decide the new servers should be shutdown years from now.

Back in this game's release, there was online multiplayer.

Nowadays, more than ten years after this game has been out? You may be a weee too late to experience the multiplayer.

Could someone who has the game(s) installed please boot it up, look if there is an option to start an MP session and check if the server is still online for it?

There is a multiplayer mode called, Domination

The game has coop (Used to play with my brother), and i have never played Domination to be honest. I believe it is still functional. Source: I have a 200 hours

Heh, yeah, I'm an idiot. There are several missions that are multi-player only and some achievements tied to them. So apologies for being totally wrong :-(

You can play multiplayer in coop with someone, seperate (each has their own island and economy) and there's the Domination mode where You compete in teams against each other for points earned by building up something fast.

Each of these three modes still work and are still incredibly fun!

I'd be keen to play multiplayer, but it's rather hard to find games and I don't' play domination, more like coop in continuous mode. #nofriendstoplaywith even those peeps in annoverse on discord, no one plays or seems interested.
