Impossible to install it.

Hello.

I'have bought this game today (just nostalgy to play whole Anno series, before Anno 1800 will release) and there no change to install it succefully.

I've tried delete cache, reinstall steam, change my Library location, antivirus off... but installation is alaways stuck at "Allocating disk space for Anno...."

Any idea how fix it?

are you sure you do have enough free space 20-30GB? And disabled AV for steam

I'm pretty sure. Problem must be Anno 2070 installer, because other Anno series, for example 2205 are correctly instaled (complete reinnstalled whole Library).

Still have 1.3TB free space on game lib disk (2TB SSD* ). Antivirus off, Bitlocker off, ... guess i've tried all possible solution. By the way, rest games ive installed with normal mode without problem. Dunno why, but it happens with Anno 2070 only. Rest works.

might be a steam problem:
restart steam.
clear download cache
or
reinstall steam manuel (setup deinstalls libary too)

Nope. I've finished all steps, but problem is pending.

There will be some creepy annoying "bug/feature" that makes me crazy, then find solution.

if stuck at that alocating space its from your pc not the game installed game on my brother laptop didnt had any problems and no ssd he got normal hdd.


try running steam as administrator

If you are talking about the Restart loop bug from installing the DLCs there is a fix for that but I cant seem to find it right now. If anyone knows the link to the old ANNO patcher that was posted on the forums maybe that will help?

AutoPatcher.exe replacement, and official workaround, is to download a massive 1GB offline version of AutoPatcher.exe from: http://static2.cdn.ubi.com/patches/anno2070/Anno2070_Offlinepatcher_2_00.zip. After all the extracting is done the game stops asking to reboot, generally you should be able to replace massive offline version with the default AutoPatcher.exe from the initial install.
