bypass uplay?

also why is there a play offline button if you still have to log in and it dosnt work....

The DRM is not bs, it's on uPlay so no reason to want or need to bypass uPlay

But what if I don't want to create one of those useless uplay acc's? I legally own this game on steam ,but I'm not willing to create a extra acc to play a game I paid for. And that's why I gonna pirate this game now, so I can play it offline, like a single player game should be able to be played. Ubisoft Sucks

i too am having the issues, had to go through a password reset becasue I haven't played an ubisoft game in years, did that, logged in, set up two step authentication, put in the cd key, said its being used by another user, cancelled, got to the username and password screen, put in the username from the account screen that I still had open with the password that I had just reset, tells me invalid username and password. It's been a nightmare just trying to get into the game i paid for, plus just purchased a gift copy for my wife so we could play some multiplayer... this has been ridiculous just tryinig to get in. Not sure what to do now...

That's a difficult one to answer because the game itself is absolutely brilliant and I would highly recommend it to anyone. However, there is a very serious issue with the Deep Ocean add on and you may overrun your 2 hour window to refund the game while trying, unsuccessfully, to start the game.

I've had the same problems. I say no, it's not worth it. I've got several uplay games and all of them are unplayable due to that stupid drm. I refuse to buy Ubisoft now. I don't care if the game is great. The chance of losing access to the game is too high and I refuse to support Ubisoft any more. As for your wanting the game, it's entirely up to you. I've made my decision.
