Bought Deep Ocean on sale from ubisoft.. no key.. not recognized?

So I bought Anno 2070 off steam, and just snagged Deap Ocean off Ubisoft sale for $5.. but I can't find it in my library and no key to activate it in game?

Did I goof up or is there a way to find the key?

You need to buy the DLC from the same source as your base game or this happens.

you can get the cd key in the right menu on your game page in the library.
Not sure if this one will work on ubisoft tough

Guess I'll see if I can be bothered to get a $5 refund... I suspected this might be the case but since my steam purchases show up in the Ubisoft store I figured the reverse would be true.. looks like the link is one way, good job!

That doesn't change anything unfortunately becuz Steam simply won't recognize the purchase on UPlay and download the new content for you. Such is the awkward relationship between the Steam and UPlay clients that has already affected thousands of users with similar cases.
