Like I said. I had removed the game, and reinstalled it. I went through all the sycning setup with Uplay, as well as there security process. But the game says when I go into it. Activation Key is already being used. So now if I own the game, how can MY activation key be used? So now how do I fix this so I can start to play it again? I do not want to buy this game again.
The key that UPLAY itself shows me in my UPLAY library as the key which activated that game on that account.
Only reaction of the "great" UPLAY support after about a month " we dont know. Nothing we can do. Sorry".
Which is why Anno 2070 was the last game i ever bought on UPLAY.
PS: Not talking about a Steam key, i bought the game only on UPLAY and that bug is well known for Anno 2017. Just nobody at Ubisoft seems to care.
LOL, Well I have the hard copy and I also have the steam copy. So this make no sence as all. The support from Uplay is a pain in the asss. I have had other problems here on steam, and got help with that. I am starting to think the support for this game is going to suck majorly. I also have BOTH Anno 1404 games on my end, and have no trouble with them at all. So why this one game????
I really dont know. I did not even play it much. I bought it , activated it on my UPLAY account, game worked fine. Played a hour or two, then deinstalled it for later since i had a lot of other games still to finish. After a few months i reinstalled the game, started it and was greeted by the game asking me for the serial key at the title screen. I entered the key and the game told me "this key is already in use by another Uplay account".
And that was it. Never was able to play the game again after that and the Ubisoft Support literally said " we dont know , we cant help you, sorry"
Has nothing to do with this problem. It also occurs if you have the game just on UPLAY without any Steam connection. Its a well known bug with Anno 2070 and the serial key registration. For which there is no solution.
Have you tried telling them in very plain language that their response is not acceptable, that if they are unable to provide help, then the matter needs to be escalated and a resolution found?
Your regular ticket monkey might not be able to help, but their manager might be more willing to acknowlege that not being able to play a game you paid, for due to their bug at their end, isnt acceptable.
Is it a tages issue? have you changed your hardware since you first registered it?
Have a great Sunday folks.
No I am not mixing up codes. The game I am trying to play is the steam copy. I have the Complete editon on steam.
What is this?????????
