[FIX] Windows 10 Full Screen

If anyone is interested, here's how I got the game to work full-screen under Windows 10.

1. First, go to where your profile data is stored. This should be in

C:\Users\{YOURUSER}\Documents\Might & Magic Heroes VI\{YOURUSER}\ProfileData

. Replace {YOURUSER} with your actual username.

2. Open the ProfileData file in the editor of your choice and locate the following line

<gfx_Fullscreen2>Fullscreen</gfx_Fullscreen2>

. Change the Fullscreen to be Windowed.

3. Launch the game and it should work fine, but it's now windowed. However, once you get past the initial videos (which is where it seems to error out) you can go into the options menu and enable full screen. You can do this at the menu screen before even loading your game.

Unfortunately, if you enable full screen you'll need to repeat the steps above every time you launch the game.

If u have black screen:
1. Find the game folder. In this folder, find the game launch file (.exe). Go into the properties of this file and put a tick "disable optimization in full screen." Save the change. Make a new shortcut to this file on the desktop.
2. Remove the old game shortcut from the desktop. Run the game through the new shortcut.

Yea right... But if i open game with this file it ask me for key, and when i write it, it says it's not correct. I literally copied it from uplay launcher. Steam is not accepting this key either.

Thanks. Works flawlessly for Uplay version (apply "disable optimalization in full screen" + "run in compatibility mode: Windows7" to "Might & Magic Heroes VI.exe" from any file manager starting it directly from file (Might & Magic Heroes VI.exe) or Uplay launcher. Win10 x64 Pro 19.09.
Now I can buy Steam complete version again. It's sick: cheaper than DLC alone :(

Saving is 1600x900 is the beyt you get
Iz bit short on right side bt it is best i see for my screen is about 1900x

Yes while it opens wery short in screen size when u start it? You can manage to get options up if you can follow your " game force"
