The closest fix I could find was some tickbox in your nvidia (no idea is amd drivers have it) graphics options that forces the game to use your graphics card instead of your inbuilt intel graphics chip for all activities. Problem was all I have is a built in intel graphics chip lol. Planning to finally get a nvidia card in the next 6mths or so and can finally test this possible solution out.
It didn't make any difference for me, though. The graphics are still unplayably black on the expansion campaigns despite the fact that everything looks perfectly fine on the main campaign.
I'm having the black-screen-can't-see-but-the-game-hasn't-crashed problem. I tried both those solutions just in case. No luck.
It's telling that the game is so broken that we can't even effectively communicate which game-stopping bug we're having. :(
2. Remove the old game shortcut from the desktop. Run the game through the new shortcut.
I'm assuming that's some sort of Windows 10 fix? Don't have that option on Windows 7. And are you sure its for the darknened can't see the map all black bug? and not the black screen crash bug that people love to get this problem mixed up with.
Any fix for this particular issue?
Game worked fine for me in my old win8.1 laptop, now on my new win10 PC I'm having issues. Changing compatibility settings doesn't fix it, thanks.
