Generally this indicates that you are logging into a different Ubisoft account than you originally linked the game to. The first time the game is launched from Steam, you will login to Uplay and the game is then permanently linked to that Ubisoft account.
If you have any alternative accounts that you are aware of, or any other accounts that have been logged into on this PC, please check if the game is linked to one of these account.

Just to confirm, if you Right-click on the game in the Library tab and select View Game CD Key, does it now show keys there? Or for instance, in the DLC section for the game on Steam?

The cd-key is were you say it should be, whats rather wierd though is that I've got the complete edition. Should not all the content already be unlocked then? Cause I've thought the whole time that I have had to buy the DLC in order to unlock the extra content.
I will initiate a rebuy for the DLC since it's not needed as I have the complete editon.
