Program terminated on Win 7 x64
I have windows 7 x64, a problem appeared, the game does not start, it gives a window with a program error "program terminated". In the properties of the shortcut, I changed everything that can be changed, reinstalled Uplay, reinstalled the game itself, deleted the movie folder, manually changed the fullscreen to windowed in the settings manually. Nothing helps. Neither heroes 6 or heroes 7 are launched, the remaining heroes that are in the Steam work.

I have the same problem. But heroes 6 even via Steam doesn't want to start.

same here ... stopped working right after the uplay update, thanks for that crap ubisoft

Guys, I have exactly the same problem, Win7 and also do not run both parts after yesterday's uplay update, downloaded the pirate, and it starts! =))

Had the same problem after Uplay updated. Turning off Uplay's overlay fixed it. Don't know exactly how this option is called in english, should be something like multiplayer console.

This solution worked for me too...
I turned off the Uplay Overlay in Settings

Does anyone know should I also disable cloud saves?
Are games saved locally?

I have Windows 10. I played 1 hour ago without problem. Now we tried open it again, but I had again the question about link between the Uplay and Steam. The game is not started.
I tried so many times the result was same. There is not any error message. It shows me the progress of Steam and Uplay to start the game and then there is not any happened.
Is there any updates of Uplay? I think there is problem.

right click on shortcut, properties, disable optimization in full screen.
in WIN 10 it's worked. In WIN 7 no such this function

I did it already, when I started first time. I had no problem to play it.
I changed the profiledata in document folder by note.
I checked again that file, now that is blank and there is nothing in Profiledata

открой клиент Uplay и сними галки со всех настроек оверлея(ну, кроме синхронизации сохранений). Так выше советовали, только по-английски. Я сделал, у меня сработало, чего и тебе желаю.
