Report a translation problem
1. Go to the folder where your 'Heroes VI' game is installed (for example, in my case, it is @ Steam/steamapps/common/might and magic heroes vi)
2. Delete (or if you want to play safe cut/paste to a temp folder) these files :
48220_install.vdf
installscript.vdf (mine does not have that file and I have a functional 2.1 version)
Data20.orc
3. In your Steam library' list of games, right-click on the 'Heroes VI' name, and then click on Properties, then Local Files, and finally on "verify integrity of game cache".
Steam will then launch a verification process which can last a good amount of time, and it will then download new files and update you to version 2.1.
I have not tried it because I did not need to, but it has supposedly worked for some Steam users who were stuck at version 1.8.
