HoMM6 Complete -- not unlocking content

I have HoMM6 Complete, just purchased it, and it is not claiming I have any content unlocked other than Complete. It will not let me start the DLC content (Danse Macabre and the other one whose name I can't remember), and I see no way to get to Shades of Darkness.

Prior to purchasing Complete, I had vanilla HoMM6. It now says I have HoMM6 with Complete, but not with anything else (no Danse Macabre and not the other one) in the DLC list. If I go to the Store page, it says I have Shades of Darkness, but I don't see it on my games library list either!

So, I basically can't use any of the content I just bought...the DLCs are not installed, and Shades of Darkness is in my library (according to the store page) but not on my games list. What is going on?

I had the same issue - Emailed Ubisoft and all I got back was "Our records show your content has been activated - have a nice day" - Ubisoft has fallen a long, *long* way from what was once a great gaming company.

Try start the game up. Go to your dynasty. If you can see Crag, you should have access to the DLC.
If you are able to see the dungeon heroes(or pick them in skirmish/solo play) you have Shades of Darkness.

Shades of Darkness is not an individual game and will not show as a seperate title in "my games" on steam.

Ah, I figured it out. Apparently, I had to go to the Unlock screen, where it claimed I didn't have anything else, then click on one of the expansions and put in the HoMM6 Complete key.... Pretty convoluted process, thanks to 3rd party DRM. At least it all works now! I wish they would make the process more clear, though.

Yeah, go to "unlock content" in the main menu and manually type in your keys that you can find in the steam library properties for the game. Works!

I have been trying to get my complete edition working for a few days now. I only get the standard game and I can't unlock the rest wants a new key. I'm about to get a new key sent again for the 2nd time now and we shall see tomorrow. The support has been poor at best so far though at least I don't have to wait long to get a person.

dude, you have to go to the unlock content menu and manually type in the cd key for each and every DLCs, you want to know your cd key, right click on the game in the steam menu and click show CD Key, there you will get your dlc cd key, gold, complete edition, all has to goes through that process

Well my new key worked.....At least I think it worked....Steam still thinks I don't own the DLC but on Uplay it shows unlocked.

Oh, I disagree with "always" - The first few Splinter Cell games on the PC were freaking *awesome* - until they went to blatant console ports and then to pure, unmitigated bugginess. They are a textbook example of 'going down the tubes', now
