How exactly am I supposed to be able to beat the second castle, I've restarted several times and it always has like 2x the number of creatures I have making the battle nearly impossible.

Maybe someone can help, if you say us the name of campaign and number of mission, or something?

Anyway, try to win battles without losses and try use different spells/abilities. It alse helps, if you choose right dynasty weapon for your playstyle...

Ah! this one! Just don't die))) For this you can try to use reinforcements from might tree, or - regeneration from earth magic.
i'm just finished that campaign in hard mode - so yeah...it IS possible =)))

it's a little hard not to die when the enemy is always twice as powerful as you.

by the way...you can resurrect your army for gold. Maybe weakening the computer before finishing him off will be good idea?
