Can Steam count play time and show that I play this game?

When I click "play", the game launches(with uplay), but Steam desn't show that I play this game and doesn't count play time. Can I fix this?

I do have the same issue. For some reasen, it works totally fine on my brother's account...
But I have no idea, what could be the reason. I just guess it's somewhat related to the start option -uplay_steam_mode, which is used by steam when starting this game.

same problem here, works fine on my account for tracking time and showing that im playing it, but on my gf's account it doesn't. only difference i've noticed is that my copy of the game worked straight away, whereas my gf had to set the exe's to this game and the uplay service to run as admin to make the game start at all

Yeah, well I have to run the .exe as admin, too. Otherwise, the game won't even start...

Steam stopped counting my play time also. It kept track of the first 105.9 hours, and it prompted me to review the game, which I did.

...and now, ever since, it's not tracking my play time anymore.

It works for me... I have 400+ hours and it's still increasing.
