Hi,

What's the new update about it/contains?

One change I noticed is the 5th dynastic trait is now locked for me. Yes I have it purchase and confirmed it.

But i also want to know what the update does. Why is there no announcement anywhere ? Not here, not on Ubis official pages, maybe i dont know where else i should be looking though.

Probably a patch to make it work with the latest version of "Ubisoft Connect?" since it used the old Ubisoft launcher.

very strange. They actually officially announced they ended all online support for this game like yeasr ago.. Yet the game requires always online, so perhaps this patch is a step towards allowing offline play since they still like money and maybe ppl still buying it?

A new level of security is being applied to allow running in Windows 10, 11, and 12 to beyond using the latest unified drivers sets which include supporting Intel Gen 12+ and AMD socket AM5+ no matter if you have one of those or not (hence the word unified).

After this year, nothing pre Windows 10 will run or even be seen unless it has the updated required security embedded.

Uhh... this has nothing to do with that, its Ubisoft updating their old titles to match the new Uplay laucher/backend.

Pretty much every old Ubi game got the same 250mb patch as this one.

I've also lost access to the 5th dynasty slot, and I think I don't have the Oblivion? But the Baby Dragon pet is still there. Didn't check the unlocked portraits because I frankly didn't care, but the others are a bit more important. Anyone know any way to get them back?

Does staying directly current on levels of operating systems yet to be released not good enough? Sorry, that requires an education and built access to acquire. My access is through Microsoft, Intel, and AMD. Learn to read code and advance the math progression and you too can see everything no one talks about until it blindsides everyone.

Also, look around the discussions for any game on steam. Have you not noticed something missing? Approximately 22 months ago Denuvo was incorporated into Windows through Intel and AMD driver security. When you see the "Intel Gen 12" complaints? THAT is what they are complaining about.

It looks like the newish "password every time you launch" behavior is still extant after the update, which makes it functionally untenable for the Steam Deck. And that likely includes AccCreed Black Flag as it's from the same launcher era. Very licensee unfriendly.

After the update, I can’t connect to Conflux at all, before that I didn’t experience any problems. Nearly completed the Naga Campaign. It's a shame.

Anyway, no change in functionality for me after the update. Still have the 5th dynasty slot shown as bought with a green checkmark in the ubisoft connect client, still i have it grayed out ingame. Everything else i bought seems to work. At least i didnt loose access to anything more. I mean apart from the time they robbed me of my ubi-units as well at some point, claiming they were always only meant to be temporary.
First time was fine, but 15 minutes later no connection to conflux though, for an hour now. Have there been issues recently ?
