CD key not valid

Is their a way to get a new one from steam or another way into the game not through ubisoft

the problem for invalid cd keys was found (at least for me). ThatCaptainGuy- I had this same problem just now. I was using Shift to enter all the letters, then I discovered that the Uplay capitalizes them regardless of whether you're using shift or not. So I tried to do it without using shift and my key worked. Hopefully this will help some of you.

I've had the same problems and I've been looking around for a while I contacted support and they where no help so I dont think theres a way aound this thats legal

Yes, I have got the same problem. I bought the game in Steam (but they won't help because it's a Ubisoft issue) and all I get is a message saying the CD-Key I am using is already in use on another account. I don't see how this can be when I bought it and was given a digital key from Steam. Ubisoft are worse than useless and I have now uninstalled the game and vowed not to buy Ubisoft again.

Tried to by the game directly from Ubisoft, but to no awail ,they did not acsept my credit card whitout reason, I gave up. Bougth the game from Steam with the same card ! and got a CD-key-.But Unisoft says that the key is not valid. No explanation . Hope and expect that Steam Support will help me in this matter , Gnomen

Good luck - they haven't helped me! Because it is a 'third party' game Steam washed their hands of it.

Have the same problem!!! And from what I read here in the discussion Steam nor Ubisoft aren't trying to solve it?! Collecting the cash but not doing the service! Nice work Steam! :-((

i wouldnt complain to ubisoft on steam it still has not worked fo me but try sending in a complaint on the ubisoft website

i am trying it now but i found that in some of steams codes two Vs look like a W ( VV ) try that and see if it makes a differance

Same thing happened to me, recently re-installed, tried to play, and CD already in use, even though this is the only account i have... AND the Ubisoft website is under maintenance so i can't get support or anything.

Yep same here ,sure its a game from ubisoft, but why are steam selling it if the codes are wrong ???. Think steam should help us getting the game to work, because its there repetuition on the line also

I Couldnt Agree more their should actually a law that says they should not have sold this to anyone if they knew the issues but insted they do not let people know and we pay them money for faulty merchendise i think every person who bought this on steam should be refunded because i think this fraudlent the fact that they even still sell the game is horrable STEAM REFUND ALL OUR MONEY ON SETTLERS 7 AND STOP SELLING THIS!!!!!!! I am going to look in to legal matters on this
