Can't play? Possible solution here

Some of you have said that you can't play because you can't connect to Ubi's servers(stupid that we have to).

On the Uplay app go to the option cog in the upper right hand corner. Then go to settings, then network. Un-tick the box that says always start in offline mode. Now save the settings and close Uplay. Now try to relaunch the game from Steam and login to Uplay and launch your game. It should always work now and if you save your login it's a painless but longer than neccesary process from then on.

I hope that helped a couple of you. I know there are also other issues some of you have faced and I wish you good luck with those.

With slow connection Uplay first time update can take ages.

Also, Uplay servers can actually be down, as has been on multiple occasions before.

Can't even download that useless spyware that is uplay. Mind you that I have an account already. Combined with that this also means that I can't play any u-spyware-play ubisoft game. Some may consider no-cd cracks, but what's the point in buying games and being treated worse than the guys just downloading stuff for 0 € ?


I contacted steam billing and I'm currently trying to cancel the purchase.
