How to play Multiplayer?

Did they remove the online server support for this game? Me and some friends all were wanting to play this game again and were unable to. The option to play multiplayer was greyed out, and one of my friends couldnt even make an account. Are there any work arounds? If there are specific steps can someone share? Thanks!

i bought the gold edition yesterday and i could play mp today with no issues - so you still can - idk what could be the reason for you not being able to play mp

having same issue, any advice. Cant even open friends tab in top.
