this worked for me:

"I have the same problem, happens very often but i found a way to start the missions.

In the game's main menu, open 'Online' then open 'Player Match', and wait till it finishes searching (Usually i get 'No Games Found'). Go back and try starting the mission again, and skip the cinematic, Worked for me almost all the time! "

When the black loading screen keeps displayed try press ESCAPE-Key and you should be in the game.

I have had exactly the same problem, couldnt continue the singleplayer missions...
Also the internal benchmark didnt start. It was loading, no ingame graphics on the screen and suddenly the benchmark results were shown, ofc with 0 fps...

It was working with Ubisoft's solution to create a new profile, but who wants to create it new every time when u wanna play and not be able to keep the progress??!
So that solution just sucks!!

I have read that solution, so i tried it but it didnt work for me.
But another idea came up to my mind: When the search for matches is finished, create ur own game, on XBox Controller via "Y".
I set the option to COOP and 2 players and klicked on "READY".
Couldnt believe it, but the game was created!! :O

I quit the current multiplayer mission and tried to continue on singleplayer missions.
And voilà, it worked, F*CK YEAHH!! :D

Oh, btw, when u start HAWX2 via Steam, the Ubisoft Launcher (piece of sh*t program) is started, too. I set the option "Always start Uplay in offline Mode", so no nasty sync of who knows what gamefiles... (It doesnt work anyway...)

same ♥♥♥♥, all gameplay times, just kicks me back to main menu. i want my money back, this game & it's uplay sideact are both useless junk.

pagar para esto que verguenza no va nunca pierdo mas tiempo en hacerlo funcionar que jugando. Poneros las pilas Ubisoft arregalarlo de una vez. No hay partidas online. No funciona modo libre etc una mierrrrrrrrrr. Harto estoy de probarlo todo para que funcione cuando deberia ir a la primera.
