Game does not start

When i start the game i get an "ubisoft launch error".. Can someone help with that?

Not working, despite the proposed installation of ubisoft launcher fix posted above.

Still getting 'error code 2' and then a black exe crash screen

Fixed by downloading the uplay 'app' - http://static3.cdn.ubi.com/orbit/launcher_installer/UplayInstaller.exe

Doesnt matter now u installed uplay direct, but installing UbisoftGameLauncherInstaller does the same thing installs uplay. You just blocked it from updating or never let it update for some reason

I had the same problem in Windows 8. Fixed using "Run as administrator" for ubisoft launcher and HAWX executable files. And turned on "compatibility mode with windows 7" (I don't know what it is called in elnglish windows).

Interesting...If I start Hawx2 as administrator, the game asks me to enter a new key- and my old one is not accepted. "This code is not valid"
I have already played this game, with non-administrator option, for about two days-.-

May be this is a "feature" of Ubisoft DRM - bind to user account (don't forget that with UAC you have two users: usual user and admin). I had the following symptoms: I reinstalled all the trash from Ubisoft, and then when I first started HAWX2 I could go to the Uplay but there was no game HAWX2 - I see an empty list of games. When I restarted HAWX2 Uplay not restarted and said something like "The application is already running." Then I started HAWX2, as I described above as the administrator, and it worked.

hm, same thing regarding the Uplay game list- I always wondered why there were only hawx2 in the Uplay list (Other Uplaygames like AC3 didn't appear).
Starting it as administrator, Hawxs is now in my typical game list, but: starting hawx, as I described, Uplay wants a new passwort, the old one isn'T accepted (restarting the game as nonadministrator, the game is still unlocked, but of course, doesen't start- WTF?!)

May be you try to play with the rights of ubisoft launcher and HAWX exec? For example, try to start the launcher from administrator, and the game from user. What error message, when you try to start HAWX as user?

open "C:/steam/steamappps/common/tom Clancy's HAWX 2 EMEA/redist/GameLauncher"
then open the ubisoftgamelauncherinstaller that should be there and install the ubisoft game launcher. That should help you
