Cannot Get Campaign To Work

Hi. Every time I try to start the campaign I get a few seconds in to the intro text and then quit and return to main menu. I've opened up the suggested ports and it still doesn't work. I'm using Win8.1 64bit if that makes a difference?

Pleas help, I want me some Hawx2

Status from today:
- check local data (on steam-> settings)/ reload bad data
- Steam: online (for serial-code)
- Uplay offline

The combination of those worked for many missions in a row, no matter if it was story-setting or user-configurated.

Pls update us if this works till the end.

- Update: Day after, it stopped working again. Had Steam on-line and Uplay offline (H.A.W.X. still blocked in Windows Firewall), and it worked again - I didn't check local data on Steam though

- Update 2: After a campaign mission or two, the game stopped working. Trying to start Campaign mission, it loads, shows some of the intro movie, then cuts back out to the main menu. Sadness ensues

@Lt. Nox The way I got it to run is using Cyberghost while I play.
Works every time.
