Xbox controller completly messed up

All of the buttons on my pc compatible xbox controller are borked, It worked fine one day and the next, up is down, down is up, nothing is "enter". I reset to default and it stays the same.
The controller works ace in other games just ierd in hawx 2, anyone else having or had similar issues?
Any help would be super awesome.

I know this discussion hasn't gotten a reply in quite a while but did anyone manage to get a fix?

I gave up, that fixed it, sorry I cant be more help, I dont have hard drive space for anything atm to check now. good luck though.

I have contacted Ubisoft support 4 times over the past 2 days. All 4 replies were the same copy/paste response. How are these businesses still running?
